A curated page of sites I find myself returning to or recommending. Inspired by the old-school tradition of the personal links page.
Blogs and Personal Sites
- Kottke — The original link blogger, still going.
- Simon Willison — Links and notes on AI, open source, and the web.
- Daring Fireball — John Gruber on Apple, tech, and writing.
- NeoCities — A revival of the personal web.
Tools I Actually Use
- Excalidraw — Hand-drawn diagramming, no account needed.
- Coolors — A fast color palette generator.
- Typescale — Preview type scales before committing to one.
Interesting Corners of the Web
- The Pudding — Visual essays done right.
- Marginalia Search — A search engine that favors the non-commercial web.
- Are.na — Visual bookmarking, quieter than the rest.
Reading
- Hacker News — The best comment section on the internet (sometimes).
- Longform — Curated long-form journalism.
